Engineer Arto Viitanen has started on September 3rd of 2018 as Camteam Oy's new sales manager. Arto has more than 30 years of experience in the technology industry in various positions. Most recently, he has worked in sales of sheet metal and plastic products.
Entrepreneur Gala was held in Logomo, Turku on Oct.17th. Managing Director Ilpo Pohjola and Production Manager Vesa-Matti Luoto were representing Camteam and took the award on behalf of Camteam.
The success of Camteam is based on owner’s long experience on tool making and personnel’s commitment on continuous development of the company. “This is a great recognition of 24 years entrepreneurship” says Ilpo Pohjola, Managing Director of Camteam. “This award is recognition for the whole personnel. Even in challenging economic situation in Finland we have succeeded in growing turnover, hiring new people and investing in new modern premises and machinery.”
Renovated factory in Krossi, Kaarina consists of very tidy production facility, storehouse and office. Camteam has also invested in management of the company and has certified ISO9001 Quality Management System in place. ISO14001 Environmental Management System is also required when dealing with international enterprises. Camteam offers different levels of services that have been clearly categorized, for example product development consulting, plastic parts mechanical design, prototype molds, manufacturing of plastic injection moulding tools and production of plastic parts.
Camteam Oy has invested in the new GFAC AT Spirit 4 EDM machine, manufactured by GF AgieCharmilles in Switzerland. New EDM-machine was taken to production after training in October 2013.
With this machine, our company improves effectiveness and quality in mould production. The machine allows making of complicated shapes, that can not be achieved by milling. The machine can also be used to machine hardened materials. The machine can work on workpieces with a maximum size of 1100x750x370 mm and a weight of 2000 kg. This machine can achieve up to Ra 0.2 μm surface quality.
